On April 28th, from 6-8 pm, the Boston Hemp  History Week Hemposium will be held at Suffolk University; 41 Temple Street (Frank J. Donahue Building), Room 403.  

Highlights include:

John Dvorak will present an overview of Boston’ Hemp History as well as industrial hemp specific portions his cannabis curriculum.

Jon Napoli, the founder of Boston’s premier hemp store, The Hempest, will discuss what it is like to start, stock and operate a hemp store while simultaneously designing and marketing a line of hemp clothing.  

Hemp video clips that document the history of hemp will be shown along with footage showing what is currently hempening.  

Hempology.org’s Traveling Hemp Museum will be on display: Raw materials, hemp products and historical artifacts combine to provide an overview of hemp’s past, present and future.

Hemp food and hemp product samples will let you take some hemp home with you.

Tentative activities include additional presentations of results from scholastic research into hemp and a performance of selected songs from the original musical “Caitlin County Hemp Wars.” (http://caitlincounty.com/)
